Hi, I’m Jonne.
I’m a personal trainer and online fitness coach from the Netherlands, currently working out of Vienna, Austria.
Growing up I’ve always had a hard time believing in myself, believing I could achieve my dreams, or believing I could achieve anything, really… I’ve had to overcome a lot of obstacles to get out of my own way and live the life I want to live.
But as I kept learning and pushing outside of my comfort zone, bit by bit I achieved the goals I set for myself and learned that I was capable of more than I thought.
Currently I’m doing my dream job and living my best life, and I’m just incredibly grateful that I get to do what I love - helping people like you and me turn their goals into reality.

Most people are not. In fact, 90% of people who start their fitness journey soon fall off the wagon and see their goals slipping away… Of the ones that stay consistent, the majority still ends up spinning their wheels and not seeing the kind of progress they were hoping to make.
I know how incredibly frustrating that feels, because I’ve been there myself. I was trying everything I could think of and working my ass off - and yet, I barely made visible progress, or saw any meaningful results to speak of and I just kept running into plateau, after plateau, after plateau…
I got angry, frustrated and sad. Disappointed, desperate and bitter. I blamed my genetics, my circumstances, myself, the rest of the world. At times I was close to giving up. This little voice in my head was questioning what the point was… Why should I even keep trying…? After all it seemed like the cards were stacked against me. Like the universe itself didn’t want me to succeed…
That’s until I finally woke up.
The truth is, I was making some big, fundamental mistakes with my training, that where massively limiting my potential results. The way my progress accelerated once I fixed them was, to put it in scientifically accurate terms, pretty mind-blowing. After putting all the missing pieces together, my rate of progression now (after 10+ years of lifting) is better than it’s ever been.
Chances are, you’ve found yourself in a similar situation to mine. Most of the people I work with have made some - if not all - of the same mistakes. I’ve boiled it down to the three most important ones, for your convenience:
Unrealistic time horizons
Lack of enjoyment in the process
Missing fundamentals (training & nutrition specific knowledge)
1) We want big results, and we want them yesterday. But change takes time. I had to learn this the hard way. The sooner you can learn to be patient - to appreciate small (but steady) progress - and to broaden your time horizon, the better. And ironically, the faster your progress will be. Most people have no idea what they’re actually, truly capable of, if they would just give themselves enough time…
2) Struggling with motivation or discipline? It’s probably not why you think. Many people try to shoehorn themselves into some arbitrary mould, without stopping to think if they’re actually enjoying the process… and that makes it 10x harder to stick with it. What sets the most successful people apart, is that they just love the thing they’re doing. You don’t need discipline to do what you love.
3) This was a huge one for me, personally… The amount of conflicting information out there is overwhelming, to say the least. Most people are just missing certain fundamentals in their knowledge about training and nutrition, and I don’t blame them. It happens so often that someone is working hard, but they’re just missing a few important variables that are holding them back and preventing them from seeing results.
Fixing these issues can literally mean the difference between grinding and spinning your wheels for years (as I did) to making better progress than you could have even imagined… (as I also did) and it’s my ultimate goal to help you do exactly the same.
